* 2024 AOGIN invites you to submit abstracts. Submitters are asked to choose their preferred presentation type and abstract topic when using the submission system. All abstracts must be submitted via the 2024 AOGIN website ONLY.

* Select your preferred type for your presentation, however, the committee reserves the right to make the final decision on the mode of presentation.

General Guidelines

  • ·
  • Abstracts must be submitted online via the website and submitters are asked to choose their preferred presentation type and abstract categories when using the submission system.
  • ·
  • Submitters who selected Surgical Film as the presentation type are only allowed to choose abstract topics within the ‘Clinical’ category (no restrictions for other types).
  • ·
  • Abstracts must be original and must not be or have been published prior to the AOGIN 2024.
  • ·
  • Abstracts must be received by the announced deadline. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
  • ·
  • Submission of an abstract acknowledges your acceptance for the abstract to be published in the official program book.

Abstract Format

Language Abstracts must be written in English.
Authors Please write the information of the presenting author exactly including name/affiliation/e-mail address.
Affiliations Only Presenting author and Corresponding author’s affiliation should be listed by department, institution, and country.
Contents of Abstracts Title, Background, Objective, Methods, Results&Conclusions
Length of Abstracts
* The combined length of the abstract body may not exceed 300 words, not including spaces. * Submission cannot be completed for abstracts that exceed this limit. * Graphics, Figures, and Tables are NOT allowed in the abstract.

  • Please be sure to carefully check your abstract for content errors, spelling, names, etc. before submitting.
  • ·
  • AOGIN do not proofread or correct spelling, typographical, grammatical, or scientific errors, nor can changes be made once the abstract is submitted.
  • ·
  • Authors may modify the submitted abstract until April 25, 2024 in Abstract Modification.

Notification of Acceptance

  • All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Committee according to standard review procedures.
  • ·
  • Notification of acceptance will be sent by e-mail to submitter.
  • ·
  • If your abstract is accepted, please be sure to register no later than June 15, 2024.

Withdrawal of Abstract

  • ·
  • To withdraw an abstract after its submission, the abstract submitter must make the request by email to ( at least 30 days prior to the start of the conference.
  • ·
  • If the presenting author does not register for AOGIN 2024 by the registration due date, his/her abstract will be automatically cancelled and withdrawn.
